Looking for a car transport carrier?Automobiles can be shipped by truck, rail, sea or even by air. It all depends on your budget and geographical location. In Canada and the US, car transport is usually handled by train. If you need your vehicle transported to major canadian and North American cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Miami, New York and Los Angeles train car moving is the best option. If you are located far away from major train stations or urban areas, shipping your car by truck might be more economical and safer. International auto shippingFor international auto transport, sea is the obvious choice but in some instances air might also be OK depending on the value of the automobile. Spending $10 000 to ship a $1.6 million Ferrari by air would be a better bet than via ocean freight because of the airline's higher and better insurance protection coverage. Cargo shipping can also take up to 3 months and the sea air could cause corrosion if proper precautions are not taken.
