Helpfull tips for truck rental moves

 Sometimes renting a truck yourself will wind up being more economical than hiring a Canadian moving company to take care of your move.

• Group stuff together. Towels, clothes, newspapers and breakables can all go together. Use the towels, clothes and newspapers to wrap around breakable items for cushioning, like glass cups, your TV, etc. Dont forget that pillows and stuffed animals can be used as cushioning too. Also wrap towels and stuff around objects to keep things from getting scratched due to vibrating during the trip.
  
  
• Use towels for the more important things because they give extra cushioning. Group stuff together in categories: bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff, glassware, etc. and mark the boxes for opening purposes later. For CD racks, just wrap seran wrap around the rack to hold all of the CD cases in.
  
  
• For light boxes, use a couple of books to weight the boxes down if they are going in the back of a truck that doesn't have a camper top. This will help prevent your stuff from flying out. Dismantle any furniture that you can take apart to save on room and load the big stuff first and the little stuff last.
  
  
• The little stuff can fit in all the knooks and crannies. Objects can even be stuffed into you microwave or dorm fridge if you have one. Definitely make sure to cushion any appliances you have, microwave, computer, stereo, dorm refigerator, etc. The vibration and jaring can damage them.
